Kenny
Veterinary Assistant
Hi, my name is Kenny. I’ve been an assistant for 5 years. I like watching TV and movies in my free time. I have a passion for the field of dermatology and spent a year working in the OSU dermatology department.
Ashley
Veterinary Assistant
I love working as a veterinary assistant because it allows me to be a part of providing care for animals so that they and their people can have happy, healthy companionship together. I value my own relationship with my two dogs immensely and they’ve made my life so much more rich and fulfilling. I also love to trail run, play disc golf, play and listen to music and play video games in my free time.
Janine
Veterinary Assistant
My interest in the veterinary field was sparked when I was just 12 years old and sadly had to say goodbye to my black lab, Midnight. I decided I wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine so I could help other pet owners with their pets! I attended a technical career high school where I was enrolled in a veterinary science program. Then I attended OSU ATI, where I received my associate’s degree in Livestock Production and Management, specialization in beef. Currently, I want to further my experience and find my place in the veterinary industry. I have a 3-year-old purebred Siberian Husky named Thalia (she also goes by Tilly) and a kitty named Minerva. When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy yoga, thrifting, and going on adventures!
Erin
Veterinary Assistant
I have worked in the veterinary community for over 25 years. 19 of those years have been here with this practice. I have enjoyed developing meaningful relationships with both our clients and our patients. I truly believe that it helps to impact the level of care and medicine we are able to offer. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, growing my knowledge of animal behavior, and occasionally fostering dogs through a local rescue group. Along with my husband David, I have two children Evie and Clara. We also have a dog named Chaplin, 7 cats (yep, seven!), some fish, and a jungle of house plants.

I started working in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant in 2017. I then received my Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology in December 2018 from Bradford School. I have always loved animals and really enjoy being able to work with them and help them every day! Although I love all animals, pit bulls have a special place in my heart!
At home, I have two pibbles, Ozzie and Logan, one ferret named Cheese, a husband, and our precious daughter! Outside of work I enjoy yoga, crafting, drinking coffee, being outside, and spending time with my pups and family!

I live in Dublin with my family and two whirling, twirling, smiling Golden Retrievers named Ziggy and Phoebe Louise. My husband and I have been happy pet owners for the last 20 years. I have a background in customer service, telephone triage, and healthcare. Combined with my love and appreciation for animals, my previous work experiences have provided me with the foundation on which to build new experiences in the field of animal care as a veterinary receptionist. I enjoy connecting with clients and their pets and value being part of the dynamic team at Good Life Veterinary Care.

Lizza
Practice Manager
I’ve worked in the veterinary field my entire life and have done everything from working as a vet tech to teaching puppy classes. My favorite part, though, has always been forming relationships with pets and their families, and I am so thankful to have found a clinic that prioritizes that. My wife, Stevie, and I have two cats, Yahtzee and Riña (who are kind enough to let us live with them), a pittie mix named Shrimps (who just wishes the cats loved him), and the handsomest old man of a barrel horse, Rick. In my spare time, I enjoy reading in the sun with Shrimps, West Coast Swing, moonlighting as a carpenter for my wife’s construction business, accidentally acquiring more houseplants, and telling Yahtzee it’s still not time for dinner.
Dr. Jacquelyn Boyd
Associate Veterinarian
I grew up in Findlay, Ohio, where I developed an appreciation for veterinary medicine while helping care for my family’s dogs and cats. I spent most of my childhood showing quarter horses at the local, regional, and national level. After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Biology from the University of Findlay, I received my DVM from The Ohio State University. I worked at the University of Findlay as an Instructor of Teaching for both the Animal Science and the Biology departments before I returned to small animal general practice.
In 2023, I completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society Certification Course in Veterinary Acupuncture and I enjoy helping pets live their best lives by combining traditional medicine with complementary therapies. My other professional interests include wellness care and dermatology.
I reside in the Westerville area with my husband and our two dogs. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and visiting local breweries and wineries around the central Ohio area.
Dr. Jennifer Geisler
Associate Veterinarian
I grew up in Western Pennsylvania outside of Pittsburgh in a loud and loving family. Growing up our family pets were part of our family and showed me the importance of the human-animal bond.
I graduated from Duquesne University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Biology and then spent the next two years working for the University of Pittsburgh’s McGowan Institute of Regenerative Medicine. I earned my DVM from Ohio State in 2018 and spent the next few years studying veterinary pathology. However, my passion has always been working with patients and their families. My professional interests are in soft tissue surgery, behavior, and ophthalmology.
Most of my family is still in the Pittsburgh area and I visit often but Columbus stole my heart after vet school and has become my home. I travel as often as I am able and love experiencing new cultures – especially through food. In my free time, I love to paint and am always taking on new projects. I often include my two mastiffs, Ellie and Whiskey, on outings around town while my two cats, Meria and Kathy Pickles, help with home projects and gardening.
Dr. Laurel Beck
Veterinarian and Owner
I grew up in a medical family and always knew I wanted to combine the challenge of medicine with my love for animals. Now, as the owner of Good Life Veterinary Care, I have the amazing opportunity to help our patients live their best lives and develop meaningful relationships with families and their pets.
I am originally from Findlay, Ohio. I attended Indiana University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a minor in French. I attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2003. Following graduation. I moved out to New Jersey with my husband and spent 12 years treating a variety of small animals. My professional interests include proactive wellness care, dental care, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.
My husband, Chad, and I are the proud parents of three children, Liam, Alaina, and Nora. We have had dogs, cats, and rats as pets over the years and are currently enjoying our happy, bouncy, very energetic Wire-Haired Fox Terrier, Zuzu.
