DVM / Associate Veterinarian
I was born and raised in Westerville, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. While at OSU I majored in Animal Sciences and minored in International Studies, Life Sciences, and Public Health. I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture. I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) from The University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College in June 2014. After completing my doctorate I returned to Ohio. I started practicing in Mount Vernon and spent the past 3 years at a small animal hospital in Powell before settling at Good Life Veterinary Care. My areas of special interest include small animal internal medicine, pain management, pathology, and anesthesia. I greatly enjoy building strong relationships with both my patients and their families while also providing excellent care.
I live in Galena with my husband, Kurt, and our two dogs, Harley and Hank. I recently lost my beloved cat, Bella, to lymphoma. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my large family, especially for Sunday dinners. My hobbies include gardening, kayaking, cooking, traveling, photography, renovating my home, hiking with my dogs and spending time with my husband and dogs on our boat.
