I grew up in Northern Virginia with 2 sisters and my two parents. We had many cats growing up, and “playing” with the small birds and squirrels was the reason I went into the veterinary field. I started an internship when I was 16. When I was 17, I started as a kennel assistant and then progressed to a veterinary assistant. I went to school at Northern Virginia Community College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, and I received my license in 2018. My interests include ophthalmology, pathology, and dentistry. Currently, I have 1 cat named Minka, who is 17 years old and demands a lot of attention. When I am not giving Minka attention, I love hiking, tennis, disc golf, and live theater. I also am a very big nerd who enjoys many anime, science fiction, and board games.
